To establish your password protection:
• Select Control Panel from the Start Menu
• Click on User Accounts
• Click on Change an Account
• Click on the User's Account for which you want to establish the password
• Click on Create a Password
• Type in the new Password
• Confirm the new Password by typing it in a second time (the two must match for
the password to be established
• Create a password hint (for example above you might use Book of the Month or
Holocaust)
• Click on Create Password
The hint that you select will be displayed on the welcome screen, so be sure
that it doesn't give your password away. For example, if you used your
granddaughter's name and birthday for your password (ivy6489) and used the word
"granddaughter" as your password hint, it would be very easy to break your
password.
To change your password, follow the same procedure as above.
