Log into a Win2K Pro PC from another PC?

Can I use a notebook computer to log into my PC running Windows 2000
Pro? I understand that I could simply share files between two
networked computers, but can I sit at a laptop while using the CPU,
memory, and disk contents of my PC?

This is what I am after. I have a PC that is set up very much to my
liking. My primary OS is Win2K Pro. Because of a tailbone injury, it
is painful to sit for very long at a time. I am hoping I can use an
inexpensive laptop (slower CPU, less memory and disk space) as the
input/output device to my PC. This would allow more varied positions,
including lying down. It would also prevent the hassle of keeping the
applications, users settings, and data the same on both machines.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Teffy
