Hi everyone,

I have just 'inherited' 20 users from a small branch who will be using our
win2k domain (DOMAIN1) 2-3 days a week and then going back to the sister
site (different forest, different domain) and logging into the other domain
(DOMAIN2).

Can anyone shed any light in case this has been done before and if it is
possible, how.?

Many TIA,

KG

The machine account can only be in ONE domain. Logon to the machine's
domain
and trusted domains are supported.

Choices:
1) Set up Trust from their domain to yours
2) Migrate to a single domain
3) Teach users to use resource explicitly -- authenticate without
logon
4) Give the users authority to add (many) computers to each domain
and then
allow them to change domains freely (ugh)
5) Continue as you are now
6) Combine 1 & 2 by migrating their entire domain into a new domain
in your
forest
