log-in problem

A short time ago my wife passed away after receiving
injuries during the September attack in NYC. My family
and I have only now begun to piece things together. Our
laptop, which runs Win 2000-Proffessional will not let us
get passed the log-in and password. My wife's name
appears as the user but we don't know what her password
was. Please help.

Only thing I can think of is when there is a adminstrator
(or other) user with password available. With adminstrator
you can reset paswords of other users.
If this does not work, you should possibly consult a
specialized person / firm.
