Log File Fill Automatically

Hi,

I adding clients of on my domains. when i logoff my user and want to
logon again i take an error that your security log is full and need to
clear the security log after logon by administrator.

i clear all the evenets in event views and got this message again
after the logoff my user.
what is the problem and how to clear it permanently.
 
Have you checked both the dc's log file as well as the local machine file?

Should i check the DC Log and what should i verify from the DC Log.
 
To check to see if they are full.

Check the settings for the Security Event Log. Sounds like one of them
(DC or workstation) is full. MS has ridiculous defaults for the event
logs. They might have been good when hard drives were 20,30,100MB in size.

I always:

1) increase the maximum size (20-50MB)
2) set them to delete old entries as required.

This keeps a reasonable history and you will never get the "log file is
full"....
