Lockup with A8N-SLI

Hi,
I have a new Athlon 64 X2 dual 4200+ CPU on an A8N-SLI board. It worked just fine for
about 15 hours. After installing PC-Cillin 2005 and restarting it locks up completely on
the beginning screen where I can select bios setup or boot menu.

After several tries, I did one last power on and waited 10 minutes. Nada!

Suggestions?

I have an A8N-SLI Premium, but I don't think I'v ever seen a
"beginning screen where I can select bios setup or boot menu." I
don't know what you mean when you say you have a lockup there. Can
you please describe that more fully?
Can you boot from a floppy or a bootable CD, such as your OS CD to
prove that BIOS and mobo are OK?

Hi,
I found the problem. One USB 2.0 hub caused the problem. If it was connected on boot up,
the system would not even start the POST.

When I removed it, the system worked just fine. I could connect the hub after Windows XP
PRO started and it would work with no problems. No other hub caused any problems.
