hi, im running windows xp home edition. i was wondering
if there was anyway of locking a folder? so as u couldnt
look inside it without a password, and can't open any of
the files with out entering the password.
if this is possible with my version of windows help would
be greatly appreciated. (maybe even a program that could
do it maybe ? )

thanks, will

Try downloading a program called Easy Crypto.
(http://www.handybits.com/download.asp?product=easycrypto sorry not free)

XP Home comes with "Simple File Sharing" default and not removable.

You WILL NEED some 3rd party software to Pword Protect, or Hide a folder in
XP Home.

Sorry, such are the woes of XP Home.
