Locking XP Desktop

Wendy

I want to lock down EVERYTHING on an XP desktop. All I want
the user to be able to do is run applications (PowerPoint,
IE, NetScape). I want to lock ALL configuration files such
as desktop picture, screen saver and icons. Any suggestions?

TIA

You can use the Group Policy editor snap-in on MMC
(Microsoft Management Console) to block/unblock houndreds
of options in XP.All you want to do is there. But be
careful if you're on a network!

and note that without special consideration, the administrators group
will also be subjected to these restrictions.
