Locking Up

I have XP Pro as my OS. My system is constently locking
up. If you switch user it locks up. If you are surfing
the net and then want to open up word, powerpoint, excel
etc it locks up.

Try a System Restore back prior to the time you started getting the
lockups. Go to Start>All Programs
Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
