The tools menue does not have a "LOCK THE CONTENTS" option.
Why and how can I correct this? so I can lock my
presentation befote I sent it.

Which version of PowerPoint are you using. The ability to password protect your presentation is only available in XP (2002)

I am using PowerPoint 2000; what I don't understand is
that office assistant tells me that on the whiteboard to
go to TOOLS and click on LOCK CONTENTS.
Why wold it tell me to do something that is not available?

Please respond...
Thanks

I don't use the whiteboard feature. but I think it has to do with net meeting, and under that environment, you can lock the contents

It's a misleading statement in the PPT Help files, Eufemio. The
Whiteboard is something that's available through net meeting, but the
Help file doesn't make that clear. Sorry.

You might check http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00038.htm for some
options.
