Hello I am currently trying to add 9 columns of collected data to an
existing data base in excel. The database consists of over 1400
property parcel descriptions sorted out in rows. The data was imported
from ArcView, a GIS program. The existing order of the data is random
as per the GIS program and is almost impossible to organize to input
the data. I was wondering if you could lock all the data within a row,
so when you use the sorting functions all the data within each row stay
the same.

Just make sure you have selected all 9 columns as your sort range. Sort on
one column and all rows remain "locked" together.

If you select all the data before sorting Excel will keep everything
in the rows together.
