Locking down Applications

Hi,

I run a whole heap of terminal services users and I need
to lock down the applications they can access as well as
what they can do on the server itself. At this point I am
using the "Run only allowed applications" list to prevent
people from running anything other than the applications
specified. Unfortunatly when people who use Outlook
receive an e-mail with a web link in it they cannot open
it. All it brings up is an open window asking to locate
the link browser. Is there an application I can add to get
this working ? Should I be using a different method ?

Hello Glen,

What errors does the client get when he tries to open the link? based on the
applications that you disallowed does it make sence that they would be
unable to open these links? Can they open links otherwise such as in a Word
..doc?

Hi,

There are no errors per se, just a open dialog
asking "Please locate link browser". Other programs such
as word work fine when when you double click on .doc files
or on .xls files. There are no other policies that I can
see that cause / conflict with this. the Applications such
as winword.exe and outlook.exe and iexplore.exe have all
been added to the list.

Cheers

Glenn
