Locking Computer will it stop an email from being sent

Hello

I have a little automated program that sends an email at a set time.

If the computer is locked does that stop any email from being sent?

Locked as "in a frozen state" - yes.
Locked - as in "user logged in, requires that user or an administrator to
unlock" - depends.
If the application is a macro dependent onn window names, etc - not going to
work.
If it is a pure script - independent of anything seen on the screen or
anything open - then it should work fine.
