I am try to lock text boxes in powerpoint. I am sending out a presentation
and I don't want people to able to change certain things, but they will need
to be able to fill in other things. Is this possible? If so, how?

Jenee,
I'm afraid there is no way to lock text boxes. You can provide a sample
slide with normal textboxes (not placeholders) in the places you need them.
Just type a few words in them and apply the formatting you want. Then let
them copy the sample slide and type in their own text. In PPT 2007 you can
add you own placeholders, so that would make your life easier, but you can't
lock them. Nothing prevents them from altering their size or location on the
slides they produce.
