Locking 2 windows together-is it possible?

HI,
I have tiled horizontally 2 windows explorer windows that I alternate (tab
through) with anothyer program.
What I would like to do is to "lock" both of these windows (tiled
horizontally) together or as one so that when I use Alt+Tab, I can instantly
switch from one program to this tiled horizontal view.
Is this possible?

I don't think so.
 
I have a latop so the 2 monitor solution, while being an idea, does not
work.
