Locked Profiles

Dear, Microsoft Corporation

Is it possible to lock a profile on the Windows XP Professional (service
pack 2) without the actual node being connected to any network to prevent
someone from rotating your actual desktop via any remote server or host
machine?

Very Respectfully

Dear Mr. Garrett Hord - This isn't Microsoft Corporation. This is a
public newsgroup hosted on Microsoft servers. Although some MS
employees occasionally post here, the majority of regular helpers are
volunteers who do not work for the company.

You post is unclear. I don't know what you mean by "the actual node". If
you mean that someone is playing tricks on you, then uncheck the boxes
next to Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop in the Windows Firewall.
If you need more help, go to this link to see what details you need to
include:

http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm

This will mean explaining your network setup and exactly what is
happening that you would like to prevent.
