While trying to establish a network connection on a Toshiba laptop using 2000 professional, I somehow locked myself out...
When the computer boot`s up, I get the following message:
User Name: Administrator
Password:
Since there was no password ever entered on this computer...
Following trying to enter, the following logon message is displayed:
The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters .....
This would not be such a big deal, just re-load windows 2000 professionnal... but on this toshiba laptop the OS and other programs are bunddled, and re-loading means erasing the hard disk ...
