Help! Someone please assist this novice unlock his mdb
files. I have 7 mdb files that I have just finished
creating. Somehow in attempting to set up group
permissions, I locked myself out of all databases
residing in my computer. I was working in one and I
thought I had canceled the wizard, but upon attempting to
re-enter the database, I was asked for a password. The
password I had set up did not work. I eventually found
that every single one of my mdb files required a password.

Will kind person help me and tell me step by step how I
can correct all to revert back to the default settings.
Bear in mind I am a rookie and I cannot get into any of
my databases. Thanks ladies and gentlemen.

At the point in the security wizard that you cancelled, it had already
created a new workgroup file and made it the default one to use.

Use the workgroup administrator (tools, security in Access 2002; Start, run,
wrkgadm.exe in 97/2000) and join the system.mdw workgroup that's located in
the windows system folder.
