Locked out of all Access DBs

I have been working with MS Access for over 10 years and a user just
contacted me with a very strange problem. She was messing with the security
on a split Access 2000 db and now cannot open any of the Access .mdb files on
her PC. When she tries to do anything within Access, including open a New
db, she is asked to enter a password. The logon box is definitely an Access
"Logon" box with her username entered in the "Name" box and the "Password"
box is waiting for a password. She claims that she did not set a password.
Here's the kicker, If she goes to another PC, the dbs open fine without any
mention of security.

Thank you in advance,
Al

Thanks Lynn,

That's the first thing I had her try, but it didn't work. I'm assuming that
the next thing to try is uninstalling and reinstalling Access 2000 for her to
make the problem go away. Do you agree?

Thank you,
Al

You don't need to go that drastic. Search her computer for all *.mdw files.
I'm guessing that she modified the standard system.mdw. Just replace it
with a system.mdw file from another computer.
