Guys
I have a company laptop running xp pro. I booted on safemode to remove some files that I could not in normal mode from an application that I uninstalled. Problem is that I used msconfig to do this and now I can not log in with my regular computer account. I do not have the administrator account so I am locked out. I tried to use F8 to choose boor in normal mode but the tool seems to have modified the boot ini file and "that is" its new normal mode. Anyone can help on what I can do to get to a normal boot?
I have another machine running xp pro...just in case I could use a tool there

thanks

Once you're in Safe Mode, you should see the built in Administrator account on the Welcome Screen. Use that account, and run MSCONFIG from there. If you don't see the Administrator account, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the Welcome Screen and you'll get the old Win2K style logon.
