Guys
I have a company laptop running xp pro. I booted on safemode to remove some files that I could not in normal mode from an application that I uninstalled. Problem is that I used msconfig to do this and now I can not log in with my regular computer account. I do not have the administrator account so I am locked out. I tried to use F8 to choose boor in normal mode but the tool seems to have modified the boot ini file and "that is" its new normal mode. Anyone can help on what I can do to get to a normal boot?
I have another machine running xp pro...just in case I could use a tool there

thanks

If you used Msconfig to boot to Safe Mode then the /safeboot switch has been added to the Boot.ini, which is how Msconfig
boots to Safe Mode. You need to either get back into Msconfig to disable the option to boot into Safe Mode,
recommended method, or you need to edit the Boot.ini file to remove the /safeboot switch.
