locked folder

i had to reformat one of my hard drives because it was infected with several
viruses. so i saved my important fjiles from my user onto another computer.
but unfortunately, i had a password on my user and i set my documents to
private. now when i try to open it on my other computer, i can't open it
because it says "access is denied". now how am i suppose to open it? i know
the password, but i don't know how to enter it in so i can open the folder.
so if you can help, please reply back asap! thanks!
