Inaccessible jpegs!

Someone has sent me some photographs in an e-mail. It is in a zipped format.
When i try and decompress my security devices say the files are locked. the
help advice tells me to right click on the files in my computer (I am XP) go
to properties and click on unlock at the bottom of the dialog box. There is
no such option on my properties. Can anyone assist me please?

Further info: I have Norton AV and FW and I have recently upgraded to AOL 9
broadband silver... which has downloaded its own spyware device.

I'd be grateful for any pointers.

Since it is a .zip file, maybe the sender password-protected the file and
you have to enter the password when you attempt to open it. Depends on what
are those "security devices" that you choose not to identify. You actually
managed to download a spyware "device" through your broadband connection.
Wow, I am impressed. I'd sure like to know how to do that when ordering
drives and parts online so I can get it immediately rather than wait for it
to show up via snail mail.
