Hi...

I am trying to set up a master template with both locked fields and
modifiable fields. For example, I would like a locked field that says "Name:"
and a modifiable field next to it that would allow another employee to enter
their name.

Ultimately, trying to keep employees from modifying the fields we want to
remain identical in all submitted versions.

Is it possible to create master template and determine which fields are
locked for editing and which can have text entered into it?

Since you can create a document with both locked and modifiable fields in
Microsoft Word, is there any way to import the form or formatting from that
document into Powerpoint?

There is no way. Powerpoint doesn't know fields like Word does.

Maybe you can do so by VBA but not with Powerpoint itself. Everyone can go
to the slide master and change everything there.
