Locked Database

We are locked out of our database (Access 2003). Someone has deleted the
Security.mdw and we do not have a back-up. What do I need to do to get to
the database and reset our security?
 
Had you actually secured it using user-level security?

If not, you could probably just copy the systm.mdw from any other
installation of the same version of Access. Then create a new database,
and import all the objects fom the old one, into the new one.

If it /was/ secured, you should have written down the details that you
entered when you created the custom workgroup file. Just create a new
file with the same details. If you /didn't/ write the details down,
/and/ you do not have a proper backup, you're probably SOL, unless you
send the file to a data recovery service & see if they can help.
