lock xp on network

Anyone have any advice on how I can stop people from
installing programs, changing backgrounds, installing
screen savers, etc. on our new xp pro boxes? We connect
to a windows 2000 server and are just now deploying xp
pro. Any third party apps? Anything at all... we're
getting desperate.... we have way too many users to keep
cleaning up after...

any help would be great!!

Make them regular users and deploy Group Policies to
limit what you want.

Administrators on local machines can do just about
whatever they want.
