Lock window against accidental closing

I've many times wished that there would be way to lock any window against
accidental closing. There could be lock/unlock button somewhere within title
bar. If you click the lock, the close button will be disabled and perhaps
also the alt-f4 function would be disabled for that window. Before you
would be able to close that window, you should first unlock the window.

This would be very useful when there are for example many browser windows
open. You are perhaps closing advertising pop-ups and you accidentally close
just that browser window, which is important. Or you have other applications
open and you close them accidentally.

I assume that this cannot be done without Microsoft adding that kind of
functionality to windows? If anybody from Microsoft reads this, please
consider this as new feature for Windows.

Any comments? Does anybody else wish that kind of functionality?

NO THANKS!! That type of functionality would have to be added to each
individual form at design time and would be a major headache. I've been working
with Windows since version 2 and I don't have the kind of problem that you seem
to be indicating. It is a situation where the user has to be trained as opposed
to re-developing all of the software.
