Lock Up XPe by sending large number of pings?

Hello everyone,
I am currently seeing a probelm with XPe on my embedded device in
which It seems the operating system locks up when the device is
bombarded with ICMP ping packets. I have been able to reproduce this
multiple times and from what I can tell, opening remote desktop and
copying a file over to the device seems to kill it everytime. Has
anyone ever seen this or has any idea what this could be? Any
suggestions for debugging this issue?

Eugene,

Are you running SP2?
Are you able to reproduce the issue with XP Pro SP2 install on the same hardware?
Is IPv6 enabled on your runtime?

If the above is all true, you've probably seen the info about the IPV6 ICMP flood denial of service:http://www.xatrix.org/article.php?s=3512

Hello,
Sorry forgot to provide that info.
I am running XPe SP1.
Have not yet tried SP2, but will be doing that.
IPv6 is not enabled.
