Hi

I am giving my presentation to someone else to present. I dont want them to
write anything or delete anything from it. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks

Beth

If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
you can set password to protect your presentation from modifying.
Go to Tools > Options > Security. Set your password there.

Check this out for more information:

Set a password to modify as Shawn suggests and also save as > save as type
powerpoint show *.pps.

When your user double clicks the icon the show will start without the
sometimes confusing message re passwords. Note though if they are using 2000
or earlier its going to refuse to open at all. If this is likely then just
saving as a pps without a password will confuse many users into thinking its
not editable though its very easy to get round.
