Lock picture in V07

Rick Altman

When you load a photo into a shape in 2007, there does not appear to be a
Lock Picture to Aspect Ratio choice any longer. It is not present on the
dialog you use to load it or in the Format Picture | Fill dialog.

The first few I imported were wildly distorted. I appreciate the new Tile
and Stretch controls, but where do I go to keep the photo in proportion?

Basically, you either need to use a picture placeholder, or you can fill the
shape with an image and use the tiling features. Your image must be larger
than your shape if you do that, though.

No way to just keep the picture aspect ratio, sorry.
