I thought Lock Folder was shareware, not freeware

Then it changed its name to Folder Access, the 'freeware' version of
which can only hide 4 folders:

LockFolder looks to be very nice and efficient.

and do a system restore, you may lose your access to the locked folders. I
did that and it took quite a bit of "fiddling" to get the folders back.

Thanks, Jo and all. This is the only program that I know of that will
disable access to folders without encrypting them too.
