Lock File

Hi,
Without reason my database is making a lockfile. It prevents me from
closing tables, forms etc. I can delete it and everything is fine. It
created it a second time and I had to delete it. What is going on?

Access always creates a lock file. It's purpose is to authenticate users.
Can you describe more about what is happening?
