lock a Powerpoint presentation so changes can't be made

How do you lock a presentaion so that changes can't be
made to it. It talks about going to tools and whiteboard

but I didn't see anything that denoted a whiteboard

what are they talking about Please Help
 
Presentation passwords are implemented in PPT 2002 and later. If you are
