Hi to all!!!
Does anyone know how to lock a powerpoint file?
I want to deny editing.

Thanks,
Mag

Hit "save as" instead of just "save". Then select
the "tools" button from the "save as" dialogue box. One
of the tools is a set of security options, which includes
password protection for modification access.

Please, could you specify in what version of Microsoft Powerpoint?

Thank you very much,
Mag

The password option of 2002/3 does deny editing or the use
of copy /paste. However it does not prevent objects or
slides being copied by "click and drag" from one ppt to
another so if someone is really keen they can still copy.
Now if someone knows how to prevent that...?
