Locations for users while sharing a folder

unable to select other domain locations for users while
sharing a folder in XP

Only the local machine to choose from. I am part of the
domain, have administrator (I am the administrator)rights
every were and am using the administrator account on the
machine in question.
 
Found the solution:

Even though I joined part of the doamin, i had to use the
network ID to join. A change doesn't create the sid needed
for sharing.
