location Scanpst.exe. for repair

My search function is not working in order to locate my Scanpst.exe. file in
order to repair my outlook express and internet explorer. Can anyone help
please - cheers
 
You omitted your version of Office, & ScanPst works only for Outlook
and not Outlook Express. It also provides no repair capability for IE.
Usually, it will reside at
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\ScanPst.Exe"
You can cut/paste the line above into the Run box and see if it loads.

- Start a Command Prompt (Start / Run / cmd {OK})
- Type these commands:
dir /s c:\scanpst.*
"c:\Program Files\Common Files\. . . \scanpst.exe"

Add the appropriate path instead of the dots.
