Location of Quick Launch Icons

A new user logged on to a XP machine and I tried to give
them the same icons in the quick lanch of another user on
the machine. I could not locate the place where they are
stored (ie C:\Documents and Settings\Rick\desktop). Can
yo utell me where to look for the icons.
