Location of Media Library on disk?

I was wondering if anyone knew where exactly on disk the Media Library is stored (Media Player 9 on XP Home). I've looked through the MP options & settings, and tried looking through various registry keys for a path, but I can't find it anywhere. The reason I'm asking is because I'm curious as to what kind of database format it is.

A related question - does anyone know of a good repoting utility for generating reports against a Media Player database?

Thx...

Try looking in here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player

Mine only contains a playlist and a skins folder. I do not use WMP at all.

There are plenty of programs that can create reports. Media Monkey Gold will
create reports. It's also an excellent media player and organizer. You'll
probably never use WMP again. ;-)

Abander Tag Control had excellent report creating capabilities.

It's a private database format that changes between versions, so generally
trying to read it directly isn't optimum. You'd be better off using the
WMPSDK's interfaces here.

See http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
