I have "again" lost trail to a previous message I posted on a newsgroup.
Meaning its not in any current view.
I know there is a way to locate and/or reload these messages so could
someone please tell me how.
Much appreciated
Mel

That probably would work if the computer was never given a good cleanup of
old programs or retention was set very long but in my case it only picks up
a few messages that I marked as read yesterday.
I am wondering how to search the group external to my computer.

To download all headers you've not manually deleted that still reside on the
server: OE Tools | Options | Read | Download XX messages at a time
(uncheck).

To download all headers on the server again: Right-click on the newsgroup in
Folders pane Properties | Local File | Reset.
