On a W2K environment using active directory, is there any
way I can locate the machine or resources a particular
user ID is logged into? Let's say I need to remotely
manage a user's system, and that person wasn't at his/her
desk, and I just needed to know the machine name of the
person, how can I do that? Thanks a lot! Francisco Castro

Microsoft has a script that you can add to your logon
script which places a record in a SQL database. This
record has data elements for User Logon Name and Computer
logged on to. A GUI interface is also provided to allow
easy look-ups on the database. The tool is part of the
2000 Resource Kit. MS lists it as a logon limiter however
I only use it for collecting current logon information.
