Locating 2000 Server from NT Server

I'm trying to migrate all my accounts from my NT 4.0 PDC to my new 2000 DC. I've set up a two way trust using NetDom. For some reason though, on either server I get "Logon server cannot be located." This is really creating a headache. Any ideas

Do you have all of the servers NT and 2000 registered with
the same WINS server?

Ok, I removed the twoway trust that I set up through netdom and I can get through just fine...without any trusts set. If I transfer an account I am unable to transfer the original password even after setting up the registry and all the other stuff. Not only that, if I transfer an account with a password the same as the username, the users do not have the rights to change their own password. Can someone let me know how I should set this up to run ADMT and transfer accounts properly?
