Is there a domain(Win2k) group policy that DISALLOWS machines (Winxp
2002) loggin on to the domain, to connect to another machine(WinXP
2002) in the same domain, using local administrator credentials.
Any help appreciated !
Bhushan
Scenario:
Domain = OFFICEDOM
Winxp 2002 machine, MAC1, has local administrator = MYADMIN, pwd=
MYPWD. MAC1 logs to domain OFFICEDOM with credentials of domain
administrator.
Another Winxp 2002 machine, MAC2, logs to domain OFFICEDOM, with same
domain admin credentials.
Using Wnetaddconnection2 API in an app installed in MAC2, trying to
connect to MAC1 using credentials MYADMIN/MYPWD.
I get an error - unknown username or bad password !
