Hope this is the right category for our problem. We setup
active directory on our domain and everything seems to
work fine. Roaming profiles have been setup but when
logging into a pc with the username and password it
creates a local profile for that user on the pc. Is there
anyway to stop this from happening? Also is there a way
to allow the administrator group in active directory to
have local admin privelages on the pc? Thanks for any
help.

You can't stop it from creating the local profile, but you can configure it to
delete the profile when the user logs off. See tip 3160 in the 'Tips & Tricks'
at http://www.jsiinc.com

By default, the Domain Admins group is automatically added to the local
Administrators group when the computer is joined to the domain.
