Having a problem with vista user profiles.
We have an NT domain, no roaming profiles. When a user logs onto the
domain using vista it creates a local profile, which is fine, when the
user logs off the newly created profile is deleted.
When logged in as the user in question I take a look at the profiles in
system properites and the profile is listed as local but the status is
temporary.
The user is a member of the domain admins group. I have tried it with
one other user and the same results.
I setup the first vista machine, logged in and all went fine. The other
user logs in on two different machines and the same thing happens with
both.

Any ideas anybody?

No Shit Sherlock!!
My machine has the same setup and no profile problems. So I dont think
its the fact its on an NT domain.
A different user with the exact same security sertup is having the
problem.

Vista is able to connect to NT domain after changing a setting or two
in vista...

Problem Solved

Turn off User Account Control (UAC) in Control Panel¬ User Accounts ¬
'Turn user Account Control on or off'... Switch it off, restart, login.
Profile loading and staying.

I have the same problem. So what if you'd like keep UAC as it is a great
feature...

Thanks

Tay
