Depending on what group users are in depends are what permissions they have
on the local machine. For Example, if a user is part of the local user group
he/she cannot change time zone, power settings, connect to secure wireless
networks, or install ActiveX® controls, etc.
I am looking for some documentation, website, anything that can explain to
me what permissions get when they are apart of the Power User and Local
users.
For example, I have a user John. He is in the local admin group. He has
full rights on the local desktop.
What if John was in the Power Users Group? What rights would he have?
