Local Profile Problem

When i try to log on to my user account i get an error message saying my local profile cannot load up. I am issued with a temporary profile instead. It says i should contact my administrator.

I am the only user on the computer (with adminstrative rights) & am using XP Home.

Can anyone help please!?

Hi ,

Using the Temporary User ID, create a new User Id with Computer Rights.
Log out of the Temporary User Id and into the new User Id.
Next adjust that User Id's Folders Option to show all Hidden Files. Next
use Explore to copy move the information you want into the new User Id, then
delete the old User's Id.

Don't forget about the E-mails, too, as well as Favorites, Desktop and
anything else you can think of.
