local profile not found

My computer is now giving me a message at start up
indicating that it cannot find the local profile. I can
still access files on the C drive, but anything I had
saved on the desktop is gone. Also, the message indicates
that any changes made to the computer will not be saved.
How do I fix this?

its your hard drive all profiles everthing come from the

hard drive when its faulty it starts doing things like
this lossing imformation not saveing chang it and the
problem will go away any problems email me
