Local printer not showing up...

Maybe it's an all-in-one printer that uses a DOT4 port? Check if this

Also have a look at the EventLog on the TS. Maybe there is no native
driver for the printer?
 
We recently had this problem with 2000 clients talking to 2000 server.

We found that the solution was simply to map the printer to the terminal server manually once. Then delete the map.

From then on, any client with a printer of that type successfully maps on client connect.

something to do with the native driver not existing on the server.

PS: Any idea of a way to make 2000 server serve in more than 256 colors ?
