Does anyone have a clue as to what real time protections need to be
de-activated to allow browsing on a local peer to peer network? Something
in there is shutting down the browser service for one, and I'm not sure if
it also has other protection that effects peer to peer. I de-activated all
real time protection, turned the browser service back on and still can not
browse the nework. Reboots did not help. Mapped drives and printers have
no issues. If there are no answers, perhaps this will catch Microsoft's ear
to look at a potential issue.
