I have two machines I want to communicate with each other
on a local network. One runs Windows XP and the other is
running 2000. At times, I can get them to recognize each
other under the designated workgroup names, and then, I
go back again and the recognition is gone.
In either case, I cannot get them to recognize the share
permission for the entire C: drive. Even when they are
recognized, the sharing option is not available.
Does anyone know what is going on with this?
How can I get my machines to talk to each other, or, to
map to each other?
